Cyanosis was formed in the early '90s, but didn't have a full-lenght debut until 1999. Before that their mainly Cannibal Corpse, Autopsy and Broken Hope influenced music could have been found on demo tape releases and on 2 split albums.
After "Methods", a quite strong debut, the band split-up and returned with another line-up, to continue from where they left off. The line-up changes had some effect on their music, since "Methods" was more complex and intense than the music of their demo period, and also suspected kind of accurate influences like Deeds of Flesh. But lately a few years of break and new line-up didn't lead to further changes, since the debut their style proved to be fixed. The main concept also inherited the completely gore based lyrics, that are kind of evident after their influences. "Perpetuation of Eradication" was their third album, that since today it's the latest release of their rumbling aspect of the mix of old school and modern sound of death metal. The song compositions, the strict hammering parts that are commonly endig up in grinding, and the backing vocal assistance are definitely the major features of the modern sound, but nostalgic references just keep returning in various ways in the themes. Still, the most memorable return came in the form of a surprising Accidental Suicide cover. The album might be enjoyable for the fans of gore and horror influenced brutal death.
