Zombieslut sounded like a fun made project of classic horror and old school death metal fans, who didn't seem to take things too seriously, and didn't wish to be taken too seriosly either.
Their groovy old school rooted death metal definitely represents the more chilled and party compatible aspect of the genre, that only requires to relax, let it loose and enjoy. The music shows similarities with Six Feet Under not only musically, but in concept too. The difference is that they're not going too far with middle speed bouncing to become too repetitive and to end up as most retired groovy death metal bands. They also switching to higher speed and intense hammering enough frequently, and that might give a chance to avoid the returning "groovy side effect" that makes the listener to feel that not only all songs of the album, but the whole discography sounds exactly the same. Anyways, for Zombieslut diversity probably wasn't amongst the planned main factors to reach, since their simple, primitive bouncing offers nothing more than what should be expected from horror/death metal freaks, who just want to have a good time and to share it with others who are into the same.
