Nihil Domination - Sado Perverser Goat Insulter (2010)

Similar to ordinary black metal, the war metal subgenre also has quite strict borders, but in the case of the main genre it's making more difficult to create something good that also could be taken seriously. This is different if it's about war metal, partly because the thicker and noisier sound has more advantageous effects to express extremety, and partly because raw brutality makes a quite exact formula and doesn't bother to care about melodic, atmospheric, emotional or mystical elements.
Nihil Domination by their strongly Blasphemy influenced disharmonic music also didn't bother to be taken seriously. They preferred to pile up as many overly exaggerated features - both musical and lyrical -, as it's possible. In the case of most other subgenres this might lead a band to become the comedy of itself, but somehow in war metal it's different. Not because it might be possible to take an overly exaggerated concept seriosly in it's presentation, but because it totally ignores to be taken seriosly. Doesn't want to give any message that might have weight or sense, doesn't look for any common ground or understanding and also not offering any. This kind of anti-music is also anti-everything, and only wants to represent the deepest despise, anger and hatred. From this point any motivation or desire trying to relate is invalid, and a performance that's definitely not easy to go into, just the best possible assistance for such a concept. Nihil Domination's "Sado Perverser Goat Insulter" was a great example for the completely devastating sound, and seemingly limitless exaggereration of war metal.
